Empathy RHS Rootgrow Ericoid Mycorrhizal Fungi is licensed by the Royal Horticultural Society and is a specially adapted type of mycorrhizal fungi to boost the growth of acid-loving plants like rhododendrons, azaleas, heathers and blueberries. These ericoid and arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi are found naturally in poor acidic soils where ericaceous plants naturally grow. They live in a symbiotic relationship with plants for the plant’s entire lifetime, effectively creating a secondary root system. This means that within weeks of application of this ericaceous Rootgrow Mycorrhizal Fungi, your acid loving plants will enjoy improved nutrient and water uptake, resulting in vigorous growth with abundant fruiting and flowering. In turn, this reduces the need for synthetic fertiliser.

How to Use Ericoid Mycorrhizal Fungi
Application is just like applying the regular rootgrow – make sure the granules come direct contact with the plant’s roots. If you missed applying the rootgrow before planting, simply spread on the surface and gently work into the soil. This 200g pouch will treat five 10-15 litre plant pots or twenty 2-litre pots.
