Borax Substitute is part of the ‘Clean and Natural’ range. The EU has reclassified the ‘Borate’
group of chemicals that Borax belongs to, so it is no longer available as a cleaning and laundry product.
Borax Substitute is a mineral compound, with the perfect pH for cleaning, and is gentler than
Soda Crystals yet stronger than Bicarbonate of Soda.
Stain remover. Packed with natural cleansing agents, Borax gently removes stains from clothes and fabrics. Dissolve one-third of a 500g packet in a bucket of warm water to use as a pre-wash soak.
For difficult stains, make a paste with Borax Substitute and some water and apply it directly to the stain before washing as normal.
Add two tablespoons of Borax Substitute to your detergent drawer and wash as normal.

How To Use
Multi-purpose cleaner. When mixed with water, lemon juice or white vinegar, Borax Substitute
makes an excellent scouring agent, slightly more cleaning power than Bicarbonate of Soda.
Add Borax Substitute and White Vinegar to plug-holes to fizz away any debris.
Make your own bath salts by adding perfume and a drop of food coloring to Borax Substitute.
